About Us:

• We are a medical practice that is focused on weight loss.  Every patient is seen every visit by Dr. Linda Mackey.

• We give you a very effective diet with delicious, inexpensive foods that you're already eating.  We don't sell "diet foods".
• You also get an exercise plan for 5-10 minutes of exercise to do every day at home.  You don't need any equipment.
• We give you advice on how you can replace your bad diet habits with healthier alternatives.
• Prescription medicines are offered if desired by the patient, medically advisable, and if you're in the obese range (BMI of 30 or more).  We don't dispense them in the office because you can get them at local pharmacies for as little as $13/month.

What does it cost? 
Your first visit is $170 and includes your office visit and lab work.  Follow up visits are either $40 or $60, depending on if you come back in 2 wk. or 4 wk.  Payment may be made by credit or debit card, Care Credit, or cash. We do not accept personal checks.

What happens at my first visit?
You will have a brief exam, then you and Dr. Mackey will go over information in your patient history form and all of your questions will be answered.   Arrangements will be made for you to have your bloodwork drawn unless you have a current set of labs within the last 3 months.  The labs we need are a CBC, CMP, Lipids and a TSH.
